Dear Boom Nation,
Happy Penultimate Day of Tour!
Boomshaka began the day with gourmet eggs and fruit from the breakfast brigade, setting us up for success.
The whole cast then headed to Ann Arbor Dance Classics, where we rehearsed diligently for our spring show pieces.
After a quick break upon returning to the Nishi House, we geared up for a 45-minute gig at Washtenaw Community College. We performed repertoire pieces, spring show previews, and took a trip down memory lane to our ReFushionShaka set. Then, we chatted with a Theater Appreciation class at WCC about being student performers.

We ended the day by hanging out with Groove, whom we performed with at the University of Michigan on our first night. It was like hanging out with mirror versions of ourselves!
Boomshaka members experienced what drumming at a Groove audition would be like, while Groovers learned our piece, Take it Off. We then performed for each other — the room was brimming with talent!
We headed home and ended the night with Settler’s of Catan and other games.

Get excited for our last day of tour tomorrow!!
With love and rhythm,
Boomshaka <3
