Wake up sleepyheads! We have a big day ahead of us!
Bright and early, Boomshaka shipped up to Boston–specifically, to Seaport. After collecting Jeremy Fung and struggling to find parking, we arrived at our destination: the Boston Tea Party Museum. Now, if you know Boomshaka, you know that any type of interactive activity wherein we get to–and are encouraged to–make noises is one that could keep us occupied all day. Well, it’s safe to say that the Tea Party Museum was one of these places.
From Benjamin Edes, to Benjamin Rice, to Joseph Pearse Palmer, to George Robert T. Hewes, to Thomas Porter, we got to live our revolutionary dream through a town hall meeting, throwing tea in the harbor, and a guided museum tour, where we saw one of the crates that was actually used during the Boston Tea Party!
Hungry after learning and eager to explore more, we ventured out into the city in search of food. While some headed to a renowned burrito joint, others continued on their true mission of the day: finding the perfect lobster roll. Eventually, we wound up at Faneuil Hall and Quincy Marketplace, where we found delicious clam chowda and lobsta rolls.
Satisfied after fulfilling our cravings, we sought out the true reason for our journey: THE BOSTON COP SLIDE!
For our final destination of the day, we walked over to Boston Common, where we reconnected with nature before braving that hour-and-a-half long drive home. Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to Rosie, as this marked the end of her tour adventures.
Many naps were taken during the long ride home, and when we got back to The Manor, they only continued. While some slept, others chose to relax in a different manner (get it): the hot tub! After getting sufficiently pruney, we dried off and headed in.

Meanwhile, Dinner Brigade cooked up some yummy DIY Chipotle bowls.
We then got ready to partake in a night full of Boomshaka tradition.
That’s it for now! See y’all tomorrow!
With love and rhythm,
Boomshaka <3
