Chickens and Goats and Cows, Oh My!

Good day BoomNation! 

This morning started out with quite the series of events! After waking up bright and early, Boomshaka headed out to DramaFun, a local dance studio, to rehearse for spring show. After working hard enough to work up a sweat, everyone ventured back to The Manor, where Lunch Brigade cooked up a throwback meal: chicken nuggets and mac and cheese. While reminiscing on childhood memories, everyone had a chance to relax before Boomshaka headed off to…THE TAYLOR-BRAY FARM!

As the title of this blog post suggests, we encountered numerous chickens, sheep, cows, and goats. Boomshaka even managed to move a tractor that had been left out in the open for the taking. Don’t worry, nothing illegal transpired!

After a long, blissful, and very muddy walk through the woods, we journeyed to Cape Cod Creamery, where we were able to sugar ourselves up in preparation for the rest of the night. Eventually, we split off, with half of the crew headed back to The Manor for some much needed R&R and the rest deciding to explore the Cape Cod Mall. 

From Sephora, to PacSun, to Hollister, the group searched for the best prices, deals, and steals, and we think it’s safe to say that we were successful! The highlight of the trip was Lauren Kee finding a denim skirt for only $10. In this economy?!

Back at the manor, we delved into the archives of Boomshaka, watching videos from as long as 18 years ago. We even discovered a flash mob that our ancestors put on in Norris. Talk about a flashback! 

In true Boomshaka fashion, we ended up playing card games again, this time with BS being introduced. We are finding that Boomshaka really has a passion for bluffing, lying, and stealing. What that says about us, who knows. 

Meanwhile, Dinner Brigade began to grill up some delicious hot dogs and burgers, which were then subsequently devoured. Feeling satisfied, Boomshaka made their way to the living room where another round of mafia ensued, with some insane twists and turns during the game! We finished up the night with Quiplash before we hit the hay.
