Hello fans!
It’s a new day in Boomshaka Nation. Today, we kicked off the morning with some delicious eggs and toast made by the JLJ breakfast brigade.
Then, we jumped straight into repertoire rehearsal in preparation for our upcoming gigs around town while grocery brigade set out on an adventure to ensure we are fed for the week.

After 3 hours of hard work, we rewarded ourselves with delicious cheese quesadillas made with love by JLJ.
Drummers and dancers then reunited for a fun outdoor rehearsal. Thankfully, instead of being annoyed at our ruckus, the neighbours came to watch our mini performance.

We wanted to take in the fresh Ann Arbor air before the sun set, so we embarked on a walk to the river. We had a wonderful (but windy) photoshoot overlooking the Huron River.
Upon our return to the Nishi House, we partook in some intellectual activities. Boomshaka went global with an international conversation (languages represented: Gibberish, Australian, Cantonese, Spanish, Mandarin, German, French, American Sign Language, Italian, and Hebrew). We also played Bananagrams (courtesy of Banana Simmons) and diligently worked on our puzzle.
Here is a puzzle update!!!

While the group continued to relax and bond, the dinner brigade cooked up a storm. We enjoyed their scrumptious stir fry for dinner, savoring every last bite.

With our bellies satisfied, some members enrolled in NIshi-Kravchuk Juggling School. We then unleashed our competitive playing Family Feud. Shoutout to Team July-December Birthdays for winning and to Social Chair Rohin for putting it together.

We then winded down for the night, dreaming about a bright new day ahead. Thanks for checking in, and we’ll see you tomorrow!
With love and rhythm,
Boomshaka <3
