Allegra Kawles

Social Chair 2017-2018

Allegra began dancing at age 3 in "Mommy and Me" ballet classes and eventually worked her way up to a pre-professional student ballet company. In high school, she finally branched out to modern, jazz, contemporary, and tap and joined her high school's dance company. Growing up in NYC, she also has a strong love for all theater, in particular rock musicals and anything by Stephen Sondheim. She can also rap all of Hamilton on command.

Allegra is a sophomore dance and neuroscience double major at Northwestern, and she hopes to one day be a child psychiatrist or pediatrician. She really likes unicorns, the color pink, and working to take down the patriarchy.
