Rachel Traisman

Public Relations Chair 2017-2018

Rachel Traisman is a Dance and Psychology major on the pre-Physical Therapy track. Ever since she got her first tutu at age 3, Rachel has loved dance. Training in the Chicago area for most of her life, she has studied ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, modern, and pointe. In addition to Boomshaka, Rachel currently dances at Northwestern with Flux Dance Project, BLAST, and Danceworks (2015 & 2016). She has also choreographed for Fall Dance Concert.

While there are few things Rachel loves more than Boomshaka, she also enjoys watching and listening to musicals and spending time with her cats.
