Desireé is a sophomore theatre major in the School of Communications. Hailing from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, she studied and competed dance styles such as ballet, jazz, hip hip, lyrical, and modern throughout high school. She attempted acro (tumbling mixed with contortion) at one point, however failed due to the severe confusion she gets whenever she is upside down. When she was younger and more energetic, she also participated in cheer leading, soccer, baton twirling, and girl scouts. During the very rare moments when she is not doing something dance related she enjoys sleeping, reading, being a nerd, and generally avoiding any and all of her school work.
