Boomshaka 2007: Reactivity

Boomshaka returns to McCormick Auditorium for their ninth annual Spring Show "Reactivity," a vibrant and energetic collection of student-conceived pieces incorporating music, choreography, rhythm, and color.

QuadroRhythmia

Boomshaka will help close Pick-Staiger Concert Hall's Spring Festival, "QuadroMania: A Festival of Fours," with a special performance with fellow rhythm ensembles Samba Samba!, the Kaotic Drumline, and Boomshaka's own Chicago-based alumni group, Be the Groove. Northern California Tour

Drag Show

Come support Boomshaka as we compete for the top prize at the Rainbow Alliance's annual Drag Show!

Dance Marathon Dance Show

Boomshaka will be joining NU's other dance ensembles for a special Dance Show to raise money for DM Charities! Show begins at 8pm. Open to the public (Boomshaka will also perform for DM Dancers early the morning of Saturday, March 3rd).

Watch Boomshaka's opening performance on the 2006 mtvU Woodie Awards, airing on on November 2nd at 8pm ET/PT, 7pm CT. Half-hour specials of the show will also air on MTV (November 4 - 9pm CT) and MTV2 (November 5 - 10pm CT)

Hurricane Katrina Benefit Show

Sponsored by NAYO Dance Ensemble & the School of Music this show will feature dance performances, jazz from students in the school of music and art from students of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. This event will be supporting the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Should be a great night!

Fall Regional NASPA Conference

This NASPA (Association of College Student Personnel Administrators) conference will feature Boomshaka in addition to other performance groups from various Chicago area colleges.
